Nilantha joined Coffey Testing in 2026, bringing more than 15 years of geotechnical and laboratory experience to the team.
Starting his career in 2008 as a field and laboratory geotechnician, Nilantha has worked across a range of projects including roads, tailings dams, clay liners, and waste management. His experience includes soils and aggregate testing to AS1289 and AS1141 standards, laboratory equipment calibration, and specialised testing of geosynthetic materials including geomembranes, geotextiles, and grids.
Nilantha has also supported construction quality assurance for landfills and containment structures, including liner integrity surveys of geomembrane liners.
In his role as quality and training lead for SA and Victoria, Nilantha supports team development, knowledge sharing, and quality standards across our operations. Although new to Coffey Testing, he is already enjoying the friendly workplace culture and being part of the team.
