Kavindra Hippola is an experienced Civil Engineer and Geotechnical Laboratory Manager with over 15 years of experience in civil engineering, construction materials testing, Concrete testing and quality control, geotechnical investigations, and laboratory management. He has extensive experience working in Australia, Japan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and major infrastructure and Australia Major mining projects with WSP, BHP and Rio Tinto.
Throughout his career, Kavindra has successfully managed laboratory operations, quality assurance, geotechnical investigations, and construction testing in accordance with Australian Standards, such as AS1289, AS1141, AS1726, AS1012 and AS3798. His expertise includes soil and rock testing, concrete testing, field investigations, laboratory accreditation, project management, and client liaison. He has served in leadership roles including Team Leader- West Musgrave mine, Lab Manager- Terra Firma Labs, Senior Material Engineer with Ground science, Quality control engineer (Civil)- CMQ Geotechnics, supervising multidisciplinary teams, coordinating projects, and maintaining high-quality technical and safety standards.
