Based in Newcastle, our Concrete Technical Manager brings more than 30 years of hands-on experience in concrete, construction materials testing.
His career in the industry began in 1994 as a Concrete Field Technician with CSR Readymix in Taree. After moving to Newcastle in 2007, he progressed into a Laboratory Supervisor role before joining Coffey Testing as a Concrete Technician. His experience and technical expertise eventually led him into the Concrete Manager position.
After two years as Technical Manager at Redicrete, he returned to Coffey Testing as Technical Manager, bringing extensive practical knowledge and a strong understanding of concrete performance, testing and problem-solving.
His specialist knowledge covers concrete and concrete testing, with a particular focus on technical troubleshooting and finding practical solutions to challenging concrete issues.
Over the years, he has contributed to a wide range of significant projects, including the Taree Bypass, Bulahdelah Bypass, Coolongolook Bypass, high-rise buildings and major infrastructure at Williamtown RAAF Base. This includes runways, taxiways and specialised pavements used for AWAC and F-35 aircraft, as well as commercial and infrastructure buildings.
What he enjoys most about working at Coffey Testing is that no two days are the same. Every project brings a new challenge, and he enjoys working alongside a great team of people.
