Jiun joined Coffey Testing in 2022 as a Junior Technician and has quickly progressed into the role of Operation Manager WA. With a diverse background spanning multiple industries, Jiun brings a practical, hands-on approach to quality and training across the business.
Before joining Coffey Testing, Jiun built experience as an IT data backup specialist and networking design technician, as well as a certified commercial and mining tyre technician. Jiun has also worked extensively in the construction space as a building estimator, scheduler and project manager, and previously ran a small renovation and demolition business. It was during this time that Jiun first became involved in the construction industry.
Jiun specialises in soil compaction control testing and laboratory management, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards and supporting team capability. Jiun has contributed to several major projects, including the Kathleen Valley lithium base facility, the Yeerabiddy BHP railway siding embankment expansion, and a heap leach pond construction project in Kalgoorlie. Jiun has also supported multiple shutdown projects across the Pilbara, based out of the Port Hedland laboratory.
