In honour of Women in Construction Week, we’re shining a well-deserved light on our Rockhampton laboratory team, a small but formidable crew led by Lab Manager Ngamane Wright and Lab Supervisor Hayley Diamond, doing big things for quality construction across the region.
Leading with Purpose
As Lab Manager, Ngamane Wright brings more than a decade of experience in materials testing and geotechnical work to her role. But it’s not just her technical credentials that set her apart — it’s the way she leads. Positive, knowledgeable and deeply committed to her team, Ngamane has built a laboratory environment where people genuinely thrive.
Alongside her, Lab Supervisor Hayley Diamond ensures the day-to-day operations run with precision and purpose. Together, they’ve created something that’s harder to build than any structure: a workplace culture where quality comes first and every team member is set up to succeed.

The Rockhampton lab team delivers precise, reliable testing across soil, concrete and compliance projects, the kind of work that sits at the foundation (quite literally) of every safe, quality-built structure in the region.
