Alkimos seawater desalination plant – Alkimos, WA

Client: Alkimos Seawater Alliance
Location: Alkimos, Western Australia

Coffey Testing is proud to be supporting construction of the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant, a major Western Australian infrastructure project delivering a climate-independent and sustainable drinking water source for the state.

The project involves construction of a new desalination facility capable of supplying up to 50 billion litres of clean drinking water per year, with future capacity to expand as demand grows. Once complete, the plant will play a critical role in strengthening long-term water security for Perth and surrounding communities.

As part of our involvement, Coffey Testing is providing full-scope testing on the cut-to-fill earthworks across the project. Our independent testing and compliance services help ensure earthworks meet specification and quality requirements throughout construction.
