The Coffey Testing – North Brisbane Laboratory can service the greater Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gympie areas.

Our testing scope includes but is not limited to Level 1 Supervision, Soil, Concrete and Aggregate Testing, Quarry Materials Testing, Specialty Testing, Site Investigations, Mix Design for Concrete and Stabilised Pavements, Conformance Testing, Site Testing, Remote Testing and On-Site Annex Laboratory Testing.

The Coffey Testing – North Brisbane team are currently involved with and are working on projects across Brisbane which include the Pelican Waters Stage 5 Bulk Earthworks, as well as multiple Level 1 Supervision projects.

Scott Coburn

Scott Coburn is the General Manager of our Northern Territory and Queensland operations and is renowned for his aptitude to coordinate and perform responsibilities concurrently and proficiently, and the ability to ensure the integrity of the laboratory’s operations.

With over 11 years’ experience in the geotechnical and civil construction materials testing industry across a broad range of geographic locations in Northern Territory, Scott possesses an in depth of knowledge of material properties and ground conditions in the Northern Territory as well as extensive knowledge of Australian and Northern Territory Test Methods.

Throughout his career, Scott has worked on a number of significant major projects in the Northern Territory in both a laboratory and field-testing capacity as well as a management capacity.

Furthermore, Scott’s excellent operational performance has seen him recognised as the 2021 recipient of the Coffey Testing ‘Individual Award for Outstanding Performance’ as well as the ‘Laboratory Award for Excellence in Quality’.
