Coffey Testing’s Melbourne Laboratory officially opened in October 2022 and has since been providing comprehensive construction materials testing (CMT) services to all areas of Victoria. Located in Campbellfield, just north of Melbourne, the laboratory is strategically positioned to service the entire state, including the eastern and western regions of Victoria.

The laboratory is well-equipped to conduct a wide range of testing services, including soil, concrete, and aggregate testing, making it an essential resource for both large-scale infrastructure projects and smaller construction works across the region.

In addition to routine testing services, the Melbourne Laboratory has contributed to several significant local projects. Notable examples include the ongoing Melbourne Airport Pavement Maintenance Project (MAPMP), where the laboratory provides essential testing and support to maintain the airport’s infrastructure. Another example is the successfully completed Deer Park Quarry project, which was a major undertaking in the region.

The team at the Melbourne Laboratory, led by Jhorden Minutillo, is committed to providing high-quality, reliable testing results, ensuring that all projects comply with industry standards and regulations. The laboratory continues to grow its reputation as a trusted partner for the Victorian construction industry.
